Ghana has made a small improvement in the most recent FIFA Rankings, which were unveiled on December 21, 2022, following the World Cup in Qatar.
In the world rankings, the Black Stars are now ranked 58th, three places up from 61st.
Their rise can be linked to victories over Nicaragua and Switzerland before the World Cup and then South Korea during the competition in Qatar.
Black Stars, who currently don’t have a coach after Otto Addo left after their World Cup campaign was cut short, scored 1400 points.
The four-time African champions are now ranked 11th in the continent.
Following Morocco’s outstanding performance in Qatar, they have risen to the 11th spot in the globe and have replaced Senegal as the top country in Africa.
They defeated Belgium, Canada, Spain, and Portugal their route to becoming the first African team to reach the World Cup semifinals.
