‘You’re behaving like some kindergarten pupils celebrating “our day”’ – Sammy Gyamfi shades Napo – READ FULL POST
Sammy Gyamfi has shot a salvoe on Energy Minister, Dr. Matthew Opoku-Prempeh a.k.a. Napo for jubilating over his victory on the defamation case against him.
The National Communications Officer of the NDC predicts the case to undergo review upon review, saying the possibility of having four rulings is imminent.
In a Facebook post sighted by OnuaOnline Friday, October 14, 2022, Sammy Gyamfi chided the Energy minister for behaving like kindergarten kids who are jumping over an end of term party.
“You win the 1st round of what is likely going to be a 4-round match and you are all over the place behaving like some kindergarten pupils celebrating “our day”.
“Knowing your long-standing hatred for me and your determination to see my downfall, I can understand the desperation on display,” the Facebook post read.
Mr. Gyamfi added further that despite the ruling and the hatred for him, “I remain focused, unshakable, impregnable and unbreakable. None of these things move me. Know this truth and stop wasting your time and data on me.”
“The dollar has shattered the 8 and broken the 12. Where is your economic wizkid, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia now?,” he teased.
Sammy Gyamfi was slapped with a ₵500,000.00 damages and ₵50,000.00 cost for defaming Energy minister, also the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh by an Accra High Court.
He sued Sammy Gyamfi in 2019 in relation to a comment made at a press conference on some three kidnapped Canadian girls in Kumasi.
Mr. Gyamfi had alleged that the lead kidnapper in the said abduction was an errand boy to the MP which contradicts claims made by the NPP to link the said incident to the National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu-Ampofo.
