The passing of Christian Atsu has been a big blow not only to his family and country but the football fraternity as well.
As a sign of showing respect for the late former winger for Chelsea FC and Newcastle United, a tribute was paid to the ex Ghana International during an English Premier League game between Liverpool and the Magpies at the St. James Park Saturday, February 18, 2023 when his death was confirmed.
Atsu’s wife and two children were at Newcastle upon Tyne to witness the game where the tribute was granted their husband and father.
