According to recent reports, Nigerian musician Kizz Daniel has been released after the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) and his legal team intervened.
Recall that Ghnewsfile.com reported in the wee hours of yesterday that the Buga crooner was arrested by Tanzanian police for skipping an advertised performance on Sunday.
According to reports, the performer was scheduled to appear at an event in Tanzania on August 7th. Fans who had paid up to $5,000 for tables reportedly erupted and caused mayhem when the musician failed to show up for the performance.
In a new update, the chairperson of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa has taken to their page to update the fans of the artist that he has been released by the Tanzanian police.
