[AUDIO] ‘People are not coming to toilet anymore’ – Vendors blame NPP gov’t for low sales
Toilet vendors at Wassa Atieku in the Wassa East District of the Western Region have bemoaned the drastic fall in sales.
The situation according to the vendors is having an economic downturn on their lives.
Chairman of the public and private toilet vendors union at Wassa Atieku, Kojo Afful is complaining that the turn of events has subjected them to famine since patrons of their services have dropped drastically.
Speaking with a Wassa East local FM station, Mr. Afful blamed attributed their plight to poor governance by the NPP government saying sales were better under the NDC.
“During the time of the NDC, I was making a lot of money. But nowadays, I could sit there for long and be hungry.
“At the NDC’s reign, my papers were getting finished but these days, people don’t come to toilet. People don’t attend toilet at these NPP times,” he lamented.
